1About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Jumpy Garage website (jumpygarage.com) or book, drop off or collect a motorcycle at our workshop at hulhumale,Male, Maldives. By making a booking or using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. All prices are in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) unless stated otherwise.
2Our services
We provide motorcycle servicing, repairs, maintenance and the supply and fitting of parts and accessories. The services we currently offer, and indicative prices, are shown on our Services and Pricing pages. We may change, add or withdraw services at any time.
3Booking an appointment
- You agree to give us accurate contact and vehicle details so we can reach you and prepare correctly.
- A booking made online is a request until we confirm it. We will confirm by phone or message if the time you chose is not available.
- Please arrive at your booked time. If you are running late, call us on +960 9913751 — we may need to move your slot to the next available time.
- Where we offer home or roadside service, this is subject to location and availability.
- Our workshop hours are Saturday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 11:30 PM. Some dates may be blocked for holidays or days off.
4Cancelling or rescheduling
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please tell us as early as you can by phone or through our Contact page. This lets us offer the slot to another customer. We do not charge for cancelling a booking, but repeated no-shows may mean we ask you to call to confirm future bookings.
5Estimates and approval of work
- Prices on the website are estimates only. The final price depends on your motorcycle's make, model, condition and the parts it needs.
- We will inspect your motorcycle and give you an estimate before starting work whenever possible.
- If we find extra work is needed, we will contact you and will not carry it out without your approval, unless it is a small and obviously necessary adjustment.
- The estimated delivery time is our best judgement. It can change if parts are delayed or more work is found, and we will keep you informed.
6Parts and materials
- Parts are fitted as agreed with you. The invoice states what was supplied — for example genuine, OEM or aftermarket.
- Parts that have been fitted cannot normally be returned or exchanged, except where they are faulty (see Warranty).
- If you want your old parts back, please ask when you drop off the motorcycle; otherwise we dispose of them responsibly.
- Parts that are not in stock may need to be ordered, which can extend the repair time.
7Payment
- Payment is due when you collect your motorcycle, unless a credit arrangement has been agreed with you in writing or recorded on your invoice.
- Any agreed balance must be paid by the date agreed. We keep a record of unpaid balances on your customer account.
- We may keep your motorcycle until the invoice is paid in full, as far as the law allows.
- We will give you an invoice or receipt for work done. Please check it at collection.
8Collecting your motorcycle
We will contact you when your motorcycle is ready. Please collect it within a reasonable time. If a vehicle is left uncollected for a long time after we have told you it is ready, we may apply a reasonable storage charge, and we will tell you before we do. Keys are handed over and returned against your invoice or booking reference.
9Warranty on our work
- Our workmanship is guaranteed for the period stated on your invoice. If the same repair fails because of our workmanship within that period, we will correct it at no charge for labour.
- Parts carry the warranty of their manufacturer or supplier, which we will help you claim.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by an accident, misuse, racing, neglect, incorrect fuel or oil, normal wear and tear (for example brake pads, tyres, chains, bulbs), or repairs and changes made by someone else afterwards.
- Please bring your invoice with you for any warranty claim.
10What we ask from you
- Tell us about any known faults, previous repairs and anything that affects safety.
- Remove valuables and personal belongings from your motorcycle. We cannot be responsible for items left on or in it.
- Check that your motorcycle is road-ready and safe to ride after any work — and report any concerns straight away.
11Customer accounts
You can create an account with your phone number or by signing in with Google to see your booking and service history. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and details up to date and for what happens through your account. Contact us immediately if you think someone else has used it. Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we handle your information.
12Our responsibility
We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for faults or damage that existed before we worked on your motorcycle and were not reported to us, for loss of use, or for indirect losses such as lost earnings or travel costs. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Our total liability for any single job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, to the extent the law allows.
